Front derailleur hanger needed

Have a carbon frame with two threaded 5mm bosses at the 3 o'clock position of the seat tube for mounting a front derailleur hanger that will allow the mounting of a braze-on type front derailleur. Need said hanger(see pic). Any of you wrench monkeys work at a Giant dealer and willing to check to see if these are available. Giant part number 270945

Any help would be hugely appreciated. Don't have a dealer close by.

Why don't you CALL a giant dealer and ASK.

Or, for that matter, call Giant's US distributer/importer. They may send you one at no charge.

Have sent emails to the closest three Giant dealers according to Giants website...one of them one of the largest in the US has dropped Giant, the other two have nnot replied. I guess we now know the true state of Giantdom....more like Antdom. Was hoping maybe there would be a mechanic/sales guy posting from a shop that would/could help me out by getting one ordered. After years in a shop myself I much doubt this is anything many dears are going to have lying around as a spare.

Based on experience; Phone calls are much more compelling of a response, yes or no than emails. Emails like your request get pushed off because the person getting them isn't the right person, then before anything gets done they're forgotten about.

If you want this part, phone Giant's USA (I assume you're here) offices and let them shunt you around until you find the right guy.

Or find not the biggest but a smaller giant dealer whose owner is more likely to be a rider of generally more enthusiastic and willing to spend a few minutes on something that won't actually make enough money to bother with.
