Klein Stem Issues

I've got a problem with on older (1999 or 2000?) model Klein Quantum Pro. I believe that the frame has the Klein Mission Control integrated headset with the accompanying stem. I am not experiencing any problems with the headset but the stem no longer accepts screws...apparently the holes are stripped. Thus, I can't secure my handlebar to the stem. Does anyone out there know if I can simply replace the stem or does the Klein integrated headset system require me to purchase a special stem?
Thanks,
Travis

The stem can be swapped for any threadless type stem.

also here is info if you want to replace convert it to use standard 1 1/8” forks. http://www.kleinbikes.com/us/support..._headsets.html
I also have an integrated headset on my quantum race, right now I have no plans on changing anything but if something breaks then I'll probably convert it.

ARISE so that my highly related question can also be answered!!!!

I just got a 2000 Klein Quantum Pro, I am worried about this proprietry headset issue. The link in the post above is no longer active, does anyone have a link or detailed info on the headset, working on the headset and the converting to accept regular 1 1/8th stems? (I want to get my Thomson on it)
