Tektro RL 720 quesiton

I have a pair of Tektro RL 720 for road bars. If I get a shim, would it work with mountain style bars? I'm specifically looking to put them on VO Bellville bars with inverse brakes and my Nexus 8 shifter.

It depends on what size clamp you have on those brake levers. As I recall, some are sized for the stem clamp area of the bar, while others are sized for the brake clamp area. If you have the 26.0 sized levers, it shouldn't be a problem, aside from cable routing around the shifter that is.
