can anyone point me to a site that might have overhaul instructions for this pump?
I've replaced the head and now it isn't able to hold or compress air. I suspect it has something to do with the plunger/leather washer and greasing it up???

On similar note. I have a mini pump that I carry with me and find it extremely difficult to use and have resulted in ripping off a presta valve. Rather than buy another frame pump, this one is going to stay in my pannier. Anyone know if it is possible to make a hose ala road morph with replacement parts (hose/pump head) and clamping on a presta valve on one end. I know this might sound silly but I actually have an extra hose/head laying around..

Pull out the set screw fot the top cap pull the handle out and there is a leather plunger at the base. I use a thick oil or thin grease and lube it good and then I flare the leather out with my thumb, a little oil in the cylinder and then reinstall plunger and set screw. I usually oil about twice a year or whenever I loose pressure.

There is a check valve in the base. You can take it apart and clean it.
I put the valve nut inside the rim when mounting a tire. It keeps you from pulling the stem out of the rubber. Make sure that the stem part of the tube is not under the tire bead.
