Need rim advice for a 24f/28r hubset and 150 lb rider.

You may remember a week or two ago I started a thread looking for a replacement rim for a damaged Kinlin XR-270. I've since decided that if I'm going to replace the damaged rim and spokes for the front, I may as well buy a matched rim set and rebuild the rear as well to eliminate the braking pulse completely.

As many people on here (I'm guessing) this sort of thing drives me crazy. I tend to think that machined sidewalls that aren't machined to a consistent width is inexcusable in today's age of production capability. But back to the point....

I'm researching rim rims to rebuild with that are both available in (and strong enough to handle) the proper drillings to match up with my White Industries hubs.

The Velocity Aerohead has been suggested as a replacement for the front, and aside from the occasional report of possibly poor QC at Velocity, I like this idea. Assuming these rims are strong enough to be reliable on a 24 spoke front and 28 spoke Rear (and that QC is good enough to catch any poorly machined sidewalls that could lead to the same type of brake pulse) these are very high on the list.

If I went with the Aerohead front, I'd almost definitely pair it with the Aerohead O/C Rear wheel, something that should be extremely helpful with balancing tension on the wide NDS flange on the WI hubs. The XR-300 I have it built to now has been completely trouble free for almost a year of heavy use, so the O/C isn't a necessity, just an extra bonus.

Other options for this rebuild would include the Velocity Fusion (would add a bit of weight to each wheel as compared to the Kinlins). Also, no O/C option.

I'd love to consider the Mavic CXP 33 as well but I'm not sure they offer it in 24H drilling. If this is incorrect, I'd appreciate a heads up. =)

I'd love some feedback from those of you who have real experience with the Aerohead rims, and an idea of their potential strength in these spoke counts. Also, for those who have built with them, have you had real QC issues? Any brake pulse or poor rim seams? I'd hate to spend a bunch more on another rim-set and run into the same experience I did with the Kinlins. Thanks for reading.
