Small bend in spokes
I noticed today that two of my spokes on the rear wheel are bent slightly just above the nipple and all the others are fine. Yes i know that sounds a bit wrong, but...
My question is should I take it to the LBS and have them replace the two spokes, or re-spoke the whole wheel. Both wheels need a touch of truing and the hubs re-greased. Let me know what you think.
Thanks!

Yes on the regrease, don't worry on the bent spokes unless you have a wheel with less then 28 spokes. Less then 28 yes change the spokes, bending them back can give them a weak spot to break. Don't pay to change all the spokes thats overkill.

Ok. I wasn't sure if the spoke being bent would cause any structural damage to the overall wheel (e.g. weaker in that area). I'll keep an eye on it though.
Thanks!
Thanks!

slightly bent, regardless. Having said that, the area you mention near the
nipple is probably the second most common spot for failure, the flange
bend being the most common. Such failures are usually neither catastrophic
nor dangerous.
I would personally ride it as is, having checked tension. Certainly the
price they'll quote you for a complete respoke will incline you toward
just replacing the two in question.
