DT 340 Freehub Swap

I have a dtswiss 340 (disc) on my mtb. It currently has an aluminum freehub body, but after going through 2 aluminum SS cogs in 8 months, I think a steel cog is needed, and thus a steel freehub body.

In my mind it seems I should just be able to find the steel version easily, unbolt the one bolt in the middle holding it on to the hub, and swap it out. However, I've dealt with bikes long enough to know this is seldom the case.

In the search I've done thus far, the sellers often don't stipulate the freehub material. I don't know if I am to assume it is steel or aluminum. Any thoughts on how to make this happen would be great.
