aerobar and saddle position?
 

So I have decided to get aerobars for my road bike. I have a Trek 2200 but don't do triathlons. I have had my bike fitted before so the saddle is where I need it.

I am looking at simple aerobars like the Profile Design Century or the Jammer.

Will installing aerobars require me to move my saddle from its current position?

David, I used to use aerobars on all of my bikes, but now just have them on my distance roadie. The primary reason I have them is to stretch out on a long ride and once in awhile for headwinds. I have my saddle adjusted properly for when I'm using the regular handle bars and when using the aerobars the nose could be lower. If you're going to use the aerobars alot you may have to find a compromise position WRT the nose, depending on your saddle and handle bar height.

You might like a doughnut saddle.. one with a hole in the nose,
to not compress the 'johnson's' blood vessels and nerves as much..

Why don't you try this fit software, and use it as a baseline to see if you can find a comfortable position.
