Chain Size for 2007 Norco Wolverine

Hey guys I was just looking online for a new chain for my 2007 Norco Wolverine. It says there are different sizes for different speeds. Are the speeds just for the rear set of gears or is it for the total amount of speeds on the bike? Sorry for not knowing the name of the different sets of gears. Thanks for the help!

starsfan, in case you're not aware, chains almost always need to be *cut* to the correct length. If you don't have a chain tool, either add one to your online order, buy/borrow one locally, or plan on taking the chain to your LBS to be shortened. In the end, it may be no more costly to just buy the chain from the LBS.

number of chainrings on the front times number of cogs on the rear equals how many "speeds" your bike has.
Some of those gearing combinations are duplicates or not usable.
