Am I just lucky? I have ridden many thousand miles. And raced for a few years in the 70s. I still ride centuries, etc. for time. I guess what I'm saying is that I don't overly pamper bikes. Except for flats I have never had anything on a bike fail. I am also a very mechanically inclined maintenance freak. Maybe that helps. Or it could be that my bike is afraid of having to call my wife to come out and rescue us?
