Help with STI FD "Trim" Feature
I recently replaced my Ultegra Triple with an FSA double. All is well, with one exception - at least 50% of the time, the STI shifter will move the chain back from the big wheel to the small wheel when I attempt to trim the FD after shifting to the big wheel. It goes right past the trim "click". When my bike is on the stand, and I can deliberately hold the big STI lever while clicking the small inside lever, it trims perfectly every time. I'm guessing that either I haven't developed the touch with the STI shifter or something is not quite dialed in. Perhaps it is a FD cable tension issue?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions. |
