hub questions
 

I posted this in C & V and got zilch for a reply. Anybody over here?

I'm steadily going through my most recent acquisition, an '84 LeTour Luxe, bringing it up to speed. Both hubs are marked Model '71 Made in Japan. Anybody know what these are? The front axle is very small and so far I'm unable to find cones small enough to fit it. I left my caliper in México along with my other tools, so I can't accurately measure it.

Those? Most likely Sunshine...but Sansin and Suntour are a possiblity as well...

Are the cones that bad? I've never bothered to replace any, even on hubs older than that when I find the original caked grease inside.
