switching out freehub body

I have a rear wheel with a supertype hub, with a campy freehub body. I have a shimano drive train, so i was wondering if it was possible to switch out just the free hub body on the hub.

Possibly, but unless you're doing a straight Shimano-Shimano swap (like going from a 7S body to 8/9/10S) a LOT of that stuff is totally incompatible. So be careful.

i sent miche an email and they said they can sell me a superlight shimano freehub body, does that mean only their free hub body will work, or any shimano body?

Only their free hub. Shimano branded free hubs are their own thing (everything is in one splined unit that bolts to the hub) and there are significant variations between other companies (different axle diameter and resulting bearing sizes, different ratchet teeth/pawl configurations, different freehub body lengths, etc)
