Seat post problem on my new MTB
On my brand new '04 Specialized FSR XC MTB, the seat post angle adjustment has to be rotated to the downward limit in order to make the seat level (see pictures). What's wrong? Is this the wrong seat post for this bike?

What is limiting the rotation travel? For example, are the saddle rails contacting the seat post clamp or is the clamp truly at it's limit?
BTW - nice looking tool cabinet!

hello
Nothing wrong with that.
That seat post angle looks rather relaxed. Is is mounted or are you holding it in your hand?

Just eyeballing it from your pics your saddle doesn't appear level to me. Level would be having the high point of the nose even with the high point on the sit portion of the saddle, so I think you could bring the nose up a bit to get it truly level.

Still kicking.
Step one: Loosen the bolt
Step two: Set it at the angle that you like it at.
Step three:Tighten up bolt.
