Crank Arm for '98 GT Palomar
Hey guys,
A couple of weeks ago I pulled my old '98 GT Palomar out of the garage and shortly thereafter snapped the right crank arm. I took it to the local shop, but am too broke to pay the $60 they want to fix it. I'm sure this is a very reasonable price, but outside my current ability to pay.
How do I go about finding a replacement crank arm for this bike without replacing the whole crank set? I'm confident I can do this repair myself, so if I could just find the part I think I'd be set and it would be more in my price range.
Any help you guys can provide is greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance...

The crank (stock) of the Palomar is a budget crank, all you need to do is find one with the same ring sizing, and that is square taper. cranks are normally sold as a complete unit (left and right cranK + chainrings), so you probably wont find a right hand side on it's own.

Bikes: too many bikes from 1967 10s (5x2)Frejus to a Sumitomo Ti/Chorus aluminum 10s (10x2), plus one non-susp mtn bike I use as my commuter

I have a bunch of left over right cranks, both with and without chainrings attached. how about $30.00 for one with rings (if I have the right sizes for you), or $15.00 for the arm alone if you have a 110mm BCD (bolt circle diameter). (both offers include postage) PM me your needs if interested.
