Replacement for Shimano CN-UG50

My girlfriend has an older Specialized hybrid with a Shimano CN-UG50 chain. The groupset is Shimano Altus (7-speed).

Looking around it seems that this chain is no longer produced and I'm not sure what to get to replace it. Any insight would be great.

8s and 7s chains are the same width, so pick up any 8s chain and you'll be fine.

I wasn't really concerned about 7 or 8 speed, but the fact that Shimano no longer makes UG chains. I need to know what model to replace this chain with. Any insight?

Shimano changed the design slightly and renamed them as "HG" chains but they will work just the same. BTW, if the chain is old and worn, a new chain may cause skipping on the old cassette. You might have to replace it too.
