quick question

i do not know to much about bike but i am having problems with my 27 inch, 700 road bike, i was wondering if a 26 inch coaster brake rims would fit on the bike and if i would just buy a new chain? i do not care if the bike would look weird, just if it would work?

thanks

Odds are a coaster brake wheel won't fit the frame correctly. Coaster brake bikes usually have shorter rear axles (measured across the locknuts). Your frame, made for a derailleur system will likely be to wide.

It doesn't mean you can't, but that it's more complicated than simply using a stock wheel.

Maybe if you told us more of your problems, folks could give more specific advice.
