Budget tyres decent enough for junior?

In my first year of road cycling, riding a bike borrowed from a mate. Just got a hole in my sidewall the other day so I need a new tyre, Being 14 I can't afford any $100 tyres and my parents aren't too keen on paying that much either :D. So I was looking at this

Anyone have experience with these tyres or similar budget tyres? How long can I expect them to last? (obviously varies, but anyway)

Also, I posted this in the mechanics section rather than the Road Bike section as a lot of people in there seem like they'll just tell me to get some $600 tyres.

Thanks!

Those are very decent tires.

if the tire sidewall isn't failing and it's just a hole and not a gash through many fibers you can put a boot on the inside.

I've ridden on the cheapest of the cheap tires. They have always worked as they're supposed to.

Buy the least expensive name brand new tires you can find.
Those will do just fine.
If you want better puncture resistance get puncture resistant strips-maybe another $20 for a pair(yes they add weight, but so what-you are young)
Cheap tires work just fine-they hold air (tube does that) and have reasonable traction/braking

I use these in the 700 X 28 size.
