Name of a Bike Part
Hi,
Can somebody please help me out with the name of a particular bike component. It resides right next to the brake discs and is used to adjust the brake pads. The shape is circular and in the middle is a threaded screw through which you can tighten or loosen the proximity of the brake pads from the discs using an Allen Key. Thanks |
is used to adjust the brake pads. |
SRAM call it an 'adjustment knob', Shimano an 'adjustment screw'

The adjustment knob is attached to a bigger component. I'm looking for the the name of the whole component.

Caliper? Torque Arm? Do you have a photo? Did you review the tech docs above?
