Hi first off, I like to say this forum is awesome!

I currently have this problem, Im assemblying my first low budget racer and I bought a frame over a danish site similar to Ebay. It had already a bottom bracket attached which I thought would work and not be a problem for me but O am I wrong sometimes

Now I can get the rippled screw thing (Im sure there is a better word for that I dont know) off with my bicycle tool, after some human power, sinse it was a little rusty. But the other part seem to be a harder work after 2 hours of screwing, it just didnt want to get loose.

Here is my questions:
1. Is there somekind of Drill to a machine I can use instead of the short pretty bad tool I have, and in case there is, where do I find it?
2. When I get it off, cause im sure I will at some point, which under 50$ BB do I change it with? Its called "Kajita 1,37x24T" as you can see in the link above

The BB world seem like abit of jungle to me, to be honest. So many measures, allmost every company using its own. Its the hardest part of building your own Bicycle I find

First, are you turning it in the proper direction? The left side cup is standard, counter-clockwise to loosen; the right side is reverse -- clockwise to loosen.

That might be an issue idd, but the problem is that the tool I have keep falling off, as you see on the link above it only have 2 edges, on the one I cant loose and the edge is like 2mm max which means as soon as I apply some force to it. It fall off again (Let me know if you understood that, cause its hard to write I think)

Im thinking instead of taking it off, I could just change the middle bolt with something that dosnt use nuts but bolts to fasten the pedals. Sinse the big problem with those nuts is that I cant find the right ones anymore, as they dont make BB like that anymore. Atleast thats the answer I get in most shops here in Denmark

I was thinking on heating up the shelf its in, but thats part of the frame and have paint on, so it would be a hell of a job to get back to be used afterwerds, I think

Very nice! I will try that next time I get to the Workshop.

I have looked through Sheldons bible of bicycles before, but loads about the Bottom Brackets, sizes etc. was just Jibberish to me
But this needed a read through or 2 and I understood. Plus I think I actually have the bolts for that at my workshop. So ill give it a go

Now to 2nd. question: Which BB should I go for that fits?
Im thinking one of these, but which Size option should I choose?

You probably have a JIS (Japanese) spindle. There are markings on it. Here's Sheldon Brown's markings database.
