Crank Removal on a Shwinn Varsity

I've been seeing videos online and they have said to remove the bolt and then use a crank puller to remove the crank but I can't seem to find that on my bike I'll post some pictures up please help I will greatly appreciate it

You have a one piece crank, commonly called an Ashtabula crank. No need for anything but a big crescent wrench or a large rock.

I just noticed I didnt even have to do that to change it into a single gear on the front :O

Yep. Just remove the five bolts that hold the chainguard and large chainring to the little chainring and you'll be fine. Clean off the rust and polish them up- they make great wind chimes.
