Can I use this type of grease for my speed plays?

I like the fact that its a cheap, all in one (grease plus gun) and its available at my local hardware store.

I used a different brand of chainsaw bar grease applicator once and the grease seemed to work fine, but the applicator was a bit unwieldy. Now I have a tip I bought for my regular grease gun.

I ended up trying it - works perfectly and the tip fits snug into the grease port on the pedal. A few pumps and the old dirty grease started coming out on the spindle side.

Highly recommended for a cheap, easy solution.
