Mount shimano brakes on a Pinarello fork
Hello,
I'm looking for some expertise. I'm mounting a Dura Ace 7800 brake on a
Pinarello fork (my first winter project bike) and the brake's pivot bold is
about 10 to 15mm too short to reach the sleeve nut when inserted into the
rather deep carbon fork. The same is true for the rear brake.
What's the standard solution to this? Does Shimano make accessory pivot
bolts that are longer for this situation??
Thanks in advance!!

This sounds like a relatively new Pinarello Vola carbon fibre fork. The crown of these forks is much deeper than normal, as are the rear brake bridges on Pinarello frames with carbon fibre stays. When you buy the frame/fork Pinarello normally supplies the longer brake nut/sleeves (at least they used to). If you have Pinarello frame with carbon fibre stays, you can probably mount the rear brake using the longer sleeve/nut intended for the front brake. You can buy longer sleeves/nuts for the front brake from a Pinarello dealer.

Bikes: Catrike 559 I own some others but they don't get ridden very much.

The recessed hex nuts that fit in the back side of the fork come in different lengths. Any LBS should be able to get you what you need.
