Any way to Lockout RST CAPA-CL Forks?

Any one have an idea on how to make a set of RST CAPA-CL forks rigid? I only ride the hard surfaces with this, and the springs are mushy anyway. I thought of replacing the Springs with PVC.

Any ideas welcome!

I see none in the diagram, Id say, install a rigid suspension corrected
[blade length] fork instead.

won't be as heavy either.. a really easy change with threadless headsets
Just buy a second matching crown race, a star nut, and more spacers,
so you don't have to cut the steerer short immediately
then later regret having done so..

Do you think if I completely removed the springs and put PVC or something the same length, it would hold up? Trying to really do this on the cheap if possible.

Yes, it might hold up for a while, or it might make an excellent popgun to launch a top cap into your eye.

Either replace the fork or live with it.

If I can find a set to match the geometry of the RST's, then that's my plan.
