Going from disc to v-brakes on the rear

first of all, the reason I'm doing this is: I have a really nice rack and it won't fit, the disc brakes on in the way. I could get an old man mountain rack, but they are very expensive. It was a lot cheaper to convert the rear to v-brakes.

Problem is, I go to mount the v-brakes, pull the rubber plugs out of the holes then I realize my problem. There are no studs to mount the v-brake. just a threaded hole.

I looked online at the usual place I order parts and can't find a "stud" that would thread into the hole.

Anyone know where I can get these?

We sell them at work, ask at your LBS. They are pretty cheap to buy. Alternatively, steal them out of an another bike.
Cheers

I meant he could steal them off a bike he allready ownes. If he allready has a bike with Vs on, he could swap the posts off that, and put the disc on. Just an idea.

You better be sure your rims are 'rim brake' compatible.
