Nitto Dirt DRop Bars and STI levers

Do you think I could mount some STI levers on those Nitto Dirt DRop bars.

I need some wider bars......46cm c-to-c is great, but wider would be better.

UNfortunatley Nitto is the only company that I could find that make super wide bars.

Nitto mod 177 come in 48cm. I use Ergos on Nitto randonneuring bars. No reason STIs shouldn't work.
