Are Teflon coated cables better than uncoated ones?

I've never had any issues with decent die drawn SS wires in decent lined housing. I consider this to be the best value arrangement. I grant that teflon coating may reduce friction a bit more (if it holds up), but unless you have lots of bends in your cable run, I wouldn't expect noticeable improvement.
OTOH- if you're having cable friction issues because of lots of bends in the cable route, the teflon coated wires might just be enough to solve them.

Kind of why I asked the OP what un coated cable he was comparing to..
die drawn cables work 'dang' well , running the finished cable through
the die flattens the outside of the wires. to be quite smooth.
