Powerspline crank arm came slightly loose...

Hi everyone, I have fitted a new truvativ powerspline BB, after the bearings on the old one gave up. I have tightened the BB and the crank arms to the specified torque (40 Nm) as suggested on the truvativ website Pdf. After doing approximately 10 miles on it I have noticed that the drive side crank arm has come ever so slightly loose, so i walked the bike home and retightened the crank arm to 40Nm again. Does this mean my drive side crank arm is now ruined, and will come loose all the time? I have heard the other stories from other people having this problem with the powerspline set up, and they always turn out for the worst, coming loose again and getting progressively worse.

use the specified torque, then use loctite.

That's what I had to do with my powerspline setup. No problems thereafter.

Thanks simonaway. So forget about greasing the parts? And use loctite on the splines and the crankbolt?
