Shimano Nexus Rapidfire Lever ST-7S20 missing bracket - what to do?

I have a Shimano Nexus Rapidfire Lever ST-7S20 with a missing bracket - what to do? Shifter for 7-speed Nexus internal hub. I don't have the bracket to mount it on my handlebar. I don't think Shimano carries spares. eBay yields just a bolt and washer.
Parts explosion is at https://www.paul-lange.de/fileadmin/p...ST/ST-7S20.PDF
So, I would love to find the real parts, but failing that I would appreciate ideas about how to hack a substitute. TIA. Jim.

Bikes: I never learned to ride a bike. It is my deepest shame.

Some models of Rapidfire and Rapidfire+ use similar mounts. Some of them work perfectly together while others are not quite right or need some modification to work. THe best thing you could do is find a stash of dead rapidfire levers and see if any of the claps can be used.

I am happy to report that I hacked a solution using the frame portion of a brake lever. A longer bolt in place of the pivot bolt for the lever threads into the shifter and holds it in place. Thank you for considering my dilemma.

If it has a separate shimano code, then it's available as a spare. A decent store should be able to order one for you.
