Need more rotation outta my clipless pedals. How to mod to achieve this?

Hello everyone,

I have Speedplay Frog pedals. My left foot needs more duck-footed rotation though. How do I get this?

Here are the details:

The shoe (Specialised MTB) has 4 holes, on two tracks cut into the sole. See here and click on the small image below the product selector menu:
http://www.specialized.com/us/en/bc/...jsp?spid=64228

SPD style set-up to screw the Frog cleat into. I have the cleat rotated as far as these holes will allow, and the side of the cleat is butted up to the edge of the walkable part of the sole. Do I need to cut out the shoe tracks, or the walkable part of the sole to get it to rotate more? I don't mind doing so as it is an unreturnable shoe at this point? But I was hoping there would be an easier fix for this.

The rotation issue didn't bother me last year, but is doing so this year for some reason.
I do have unwalkable Specialised light action pedals with plenty of rotation that I can just start using again, but they are really unwalkable.

Thanks for any help.

Can't you just trim the cleat?

SCOR , "Knee savers".. they screw into the crank arm, and the pedal screws into them.

they were made just to allow that .. without ankle hitting the crankarm..

As I understand Speedplay Frogs are sold, special order, with longer spindles ,
you might ask if they will change them if you send the ones you bought , back.

Yes, I will contact Speedplay. If no dice on the warranty I may just buy new ones with longer spindles or get the kneesavers. Thanks for the info!!
