Picked up some Bell bar ends from Wally World... guess some WM stuff really is junk.

Not sure which orientation is correct, but obviously at least one of them was welded incorrectly to the bracket.

Just get a WalMart handlebar and they'll fit perfect.

Return them and get some Forté oversize barends at Performance for $13. Or support your LBS and get whatever brand they carry.

I bought a set of those for my $18 Diamondback Outlook.
the right barend orients mre upward and the left one more sideways.
None the less, they work just fine.

Few years ago our local Walmart had a guy running the bicycle section like a real bike shop - It was impressive - All the bikes were tip top - Set up right and the merchandise was all inspected - He even managed to get a very good collection of support parts and accessories in stock - Sales took off so well he was transferred to another store and placed in management...

Every now and then you get a lemon no matter what store your at...

Is it Wal Marts fault or Bell's?

Doesn't matter because Wal Mart get's the blame.

It's my understanding that even the exact same product can vary in quality depending on whether it's purchased in Walmart or elsewhere. Products have specific production lines that skimp on quality checks OR quality check then send the lower specs to Walmart.

I don't have any proof of this though and that's just what I've heard told to me. Very likely could be just rumors...

They were a custom order for this guy......

They're for his MTB. His road bike looks like this:

You should take them back, because he's probably looking for them.
