Powder coat shop in Brooklyn?
Has anyone in Brooklyn used an auto body shop or motorcycle paint shop to powder coat their frame? I have an old steel Schwinn frame that I plan to repaint over the winter. I'm trying to decide between DIY and outsourcing to a paint shop. Since my apartment is tiny and I have no ventilation, I doubt the DIY route is going to work for me.
I'm looking for shop names that have done this in the past, or even shops that folks may have used for their other toys (motorcycles, cars, etc.).
Hopefully someone out there will have a suggestion.
