mavic m9 freehub swap
I am looking at getting a older set of red heliums with the mavic m9 freehub on it. The hub currently has a 9 speed shimano cassette. I would like to put an 8 speed Campy compatible cassette. Did mavic ever make that pattern of freehub? If so any ideas on where to find one? Banning that, other options?

Wheels Mfg used to make spacers that would allow you to respace an 8S Shimano or SRAM cassette to work with Campy 8S shifters. I ran that setup on a Spinergy Xaero-X wheelset for about 5 years with no issues. WAy cheaper than a new freehub body, and the cassettes are cheaper too.

Could I use an extra set of Campy 8 speed spacers I have to do that?
