crank problems

I have a felt b16 year 2010 with a fsa gossamer crank and stock brakes I got a new sram red crank and gxp bb. When I mount it the crank arm on the nondrive side hits my brake caliper arm. Is there a fix for it would a different set of brakes give me more clearance. Any ideas would help the local bike shops are not much help.

ya, i see it's got the rear brake mounted on the seattube near the BB. probably need a wider crank spindle, like the one it came with.

i suspect the rear brake is proprietary to that frame. but, i admit, i'm guessing... email Felt about it?

The new crank actually has a higher Q factor. The brakes are mounted above the bb they are not proprietary to that frame. I was told to look for brakes with smaller calipers to give me more clearanc.

Having a higher Q factor does not mean you'll have more inside clearance. Short story: That crank is not compatible with that brake/frame combo.
