Chainring stripping teeth
Hi. I'm a returning cyclist and today noticed my brand new bike (Merida Speeder T3) with only 55 miles travelled has a few stripped teeth on the large chainring (52, FSA vero). Probably due to me but didnt think i was too mechanically unsympathetic... Can anyone advise a likely cause / give advice on how i could avoid further damage please as this was a shock find? Thanks. Steve.

Be kind to your teeth, stop chewing on your chainrings!
Seriously though, do they look like this (about 1/3 of the way down, under ramped and pinned): https://sheldonbrown.com/gloss_ra-e.html

Possibly the most common warranty question asked by new bike owners. It's so common, that bike companies should consider making a hang tag explaining it.
