Cartridge Brake Pads
I've been considering fitting cartridge brake pads to my commuter, which has cantilever brakes but takes threaded-stem pads. The current pads are old and the rubber has hardened, so the braking power is fairly poor at the moment. How many different standards are there for cartridge brake pads, and is there anything else I ought to know about them?
Thanks in advance.

Your choices are v-brake/canti cartridge and road cartridge, both available in threaded post style.

To be clear, that's the Shimano road style. Campy road style are not available with the threaded post suitable for mounting on a v-brake as far as I know.
