Powder Coating,Decals,& Gloss Finish?

When powder caoting how are decals handled? Are they installed after the powder coating and then a regular clear coat or is it a special clear coat?

Decals are applied after the powder coat and before the clear coat, if any. There are clear powder coats, but if used over decals you must be certain that the decals can withstand the heat involved in fusing the clear powder. Otherwise, there is no problem using a standard, non-powder clear coat over decals applied on top of a powder finish.
