lubing rusty front suspension
 

A friend of mine has a craptastic dual suspension Mongoose that he left out all summer because the tire needed changed :notamused:

Anyhow, I took it off his hands to get the job finished. However, after taking a good look at all the rusty parts, I decided to see if the forks would work on my old mtn bike that is in much better shape.......and surprisingly, they do! So heres my question, how do I recodition the front suspension shocks?

If they are just springs and/or elastomers, spray some chain lube down the stanchions under the rubber boots.
