Truvativ GXP Bottom Bracket
I came from a square taper bottom bracket on my stolen trek 1220. I now have a fuji that has the Truvativ GXP bottom bracket. From what I hear, these are really crappy bottom brackets, but I would have to replace the crankset if I wish to upgrade to something better. So far, it has given me no issues, but I have some questions about it. Are these BB's sealed? Meaning I don't have to regrease them.. just ride till it breaks. Or how should I go about maintaining them?
Any suggestions/comments on this BB system? Has anyone stuck with it, or do you all eventually swap out the crankset?
Thanks

Thanks for your input. Hopefully mine will last that long because I don't really want to swap out the crank. Does anyone know if you are supposed to regrease the gxp bb?

you can clean it of debris by pulling the seal washers off and but these BB are somewhat disposable. if the bearings feel gritty remove toss and put in a new one, they are about 39.99 retail. I sometimes go through 2 per cross season, no biggie.
