Carbon Fork won't sit flush

Hey guys,

I just got this bike and I noticed some movement in my fork/steering tube so I took off my stem and inspected it. When I put everything back together, the fork wont sit flush. The crown is a couple mm above the steering tube and I can't get it to sit flush. Any ideas? It's a Fuji SST 3.0 if that makes any difference.

Did you remove the bearings? If so, did you reinstall one upside down?

Is the lower bearing race all the way down on the fork?

No, I couldn't get it to come down to the fork. That's the little crown ring that sits on top of the head tube right? Another friend told me I need to mess with the spacer rings...I'll wait until I get more info from y0ou guys.

Not all crown races go to the very bottom of the fork my easton EA90SLX is one of those so when its installed on the bike their is a little gap from fork crown to headtube this is normal for this combo.
If your crown race is down as far as it will go on the fork and like I mentioned some do not go all the way down make sure bearing are on correct and set preload.
If you still have a loose fork you need to check things over very carefully thier is no reason for you to have a loose fork.
Pics?

I'm pretty sure i narrowed it down, my fork expansion plug seems to be stripped. Any ideas how much that would cost?
