hub problem

i have an eastern with a cassette hub on it but it doesnty make the ticking noise what do u think is the problem,and i know it should make th ticking noise because my mate has the same biek and his does thanks 4 ya help

Yours probably has more grease inside.
There is no problem unless the free-hub stops engaging.
