sramx9 shifter problems
 

Hi finjas here in NZ. I have sram x9 shifter and derailler . I can change gears down the gears only, when I try to change up thru the gears basically nothing happens. Was working fine until rotorua this w end . could this be a shifter or derailler problem. any ideas from anyone. cheers

That is almost certainly a problem with the shifter. It may be gummed up with old grease, or simply worn out. How old is the shifter, and how much use has it had?
