Please help with this crank and BB question
 

Can anyone tell me if this crank will fit on my old LeMond Zurich. English BB. I know a BB30 will not fit there can an other BB fit in my BB with that crank? Can someone explain the difference to me on these hollow external BBs. Are BB30s the standard or the norm? I am still running DA Octalink

You can fit any system, internal or external BB, as long as it references a 1.370x24tpi BB thread, with a 68mm BB width. If it says something to the effect that it fits a 68mm BSC shell, that's the same thing. Anything that doesn't reference a 1.370 thread is out.

BB30's are still fairly rare. The "installed base" of English-thread, threaded bottom bracket shells is huge, and I doubt that will change rapidly.
