a-class free hub

Is a class free hub as offered from various sellers a standardized item fitting for various brands or is it just one brand.
https://www.cambriabike.com/product/a...dult_H4xs0.php
What does a-Class mean? Is a Bontrager free hub from a "race lite"-hub an a-class free hub - if it looks like such?
Thanks

A-Class is the name of the wheels made by Alex-rims; they are supposedly better using rims and hubs made in Japan..

I'm wondering what's 'adult' about these.

As said above, A-class is the brand label. They offer various replacement freehubs for Shimano or Campagnolo. You have to buy the one that matches the original that you're replacing, brand/type and #of speeds.

A-Class was an independent wheel company, acquired by Alex Rims.

Hubs are Formulas...

You'll see cheaper loose ball hubs with steel freehubs, and higher-end sealed cartridge bearing hubs with alloy freehubs.

Show us a pic of your current hub - I'll tell you whether I have a used hub or freehub that you can use...
