Do you tighten twist ties clockwise?
I always do. It's a bit irking when getting the vegies home from the supermarket and the ties are random, done either way. Don't they know there are standards about this sort of thing? 
Sometimes it is hard to see which way it is tightened too.
I always thought any mechanic would do this, but a high end professional mechanic in our lunch room tightened his the other way.
It's just a small, trivial thing, but I'm a bit of an efficiency freak. I like to have anything organized that I can, in any way that will save me time.

Sure, right-tight just like tightening nuts and screws. Weird, I'd never thought about it but yes always clockwise.

Since nobody thinks about it at all, I wouldn't be surprised that everybody does it the same way. But that might mean right handed people twist clockwise, and lefties twist counter clockwise

I don't twist 'em clockwise, I hang onto the ties and spin the bag counter clockwise. It's works well up to a pound of granola-maybe not with tomatoes.

So what are you going to do about it?
Suppose for the sake of argument we can all agree that clockwise is correct. What are you going to do about it? Return the veggies that are wrapped counterclockwise? Pick through the veggies in the store selecting only clockwise wrapped packages? Find another prodice supplier?

Naah, I'm a lefty and always twist them clockwise. Common nuts and bolts are the same for all of us and so are these things.

When I'm in the northern hemisphere I twist them clockwise, but when I'm in the southern hemisphere I twist them anticlockwise. Doing otherwise will upset the balance of the world and endangers all life on earth. I'm a responsible cyclist and steward of the earth.
