How to measure Nitto Stem extenson?

I have a Technomic. From center of bolt head to center of clamp, measures 8.5cm.

They only make 6,7,8,9, etc. cm stems from what I have seen.

What am I doing wrong?

Are you measuring the center of the clamp perpendicular to the extension, or from the same angle as the quill?

If you pull the stem out most Nitto's have the sizing marked on the lower half of the quill yours is likely a 80mm stem since that was the most common size for these.

Here is a diagram on the Nitto website showing how they measure stems.

Thanks. That is great. Where did you find that?

I was measuring from the center of the bolt head, along the top of the extension, to the canter of clamp.

I will measure it the way they have it in the picture. Thanks again.
