what are you looking to spend? What type of riding do you do? If your an XC rider you might try the Duke from rock shox. My LBS favors the fork. I personally have a SID but that is generally not the cheapest upgrade, and im not sure if 165 is too heavy for it, though it has a capacity of 180 i would not push it. For FR or DH thats beyond me

Cost Is Not As Important As Weight Tolerance How About The Pilot?

phantomcow2 01-22-05 09:08 PM

eeh, well i have not personally owned or used a pilot but from people i have know and reviews i have read its so-so. It will be much easier to suggest if you tell what kind of riding you wish to do and how much you want to spend here.

but if your worried about weight tolerance, go for coils. It wont be the lightest fork out there but that does not seem like your concern.

How about not capitalizing every word? I'm no fan of the Pilot it's the low man on the totem ploe for a reason.
