Campagnolo Chorus 11 speed - need rear derailleur adjustment??
I got a new bike with Campy Chorus 11 speed. I find that when I shift the rear cogs from smallest to largest, the 3rd and 4th cogs make a lot of scraping sound. However, when I shift from the biggest to the smallest, the same 3rd and 4th cogs do not make any sound.
Does this mean the rear derailleur needs adjustment? How do I adjust it? I looked online for instructions on Campy Chorus RD adjustment but I didn't find any complete sources.
Should I go to a LBS? I live in Chandler AZ... I'm not sure which ones are certified Campy specialists.
Thanks for your help!

IMO you have a friction problem.
Do you know how to set up the rd ?? If you have no idea how to do that then it is the right time to learn and set up the tension in that rd cable right from square one.
Telling you this at front because many stores when you mention campagnolo they start making weird faces and sh...t going on that pretty much you are better figuring out yourself.
Good luck.

Some shops can't handle Campy ? All brands work the same way. The cable probably needs to be adjusted tighter or looser a tiny bit .... not a big deal.
And there is standard troubleshooting that is pretty much the same too ... kinked cable or housing, frayed cable etc ...

Well all depends of the area and the shop but since technical advice from campy usa just sucks many shops just dont want to deal with the brand right at front because might take them too much time to fix something and to call campy USA for help pretty much is useless.
Have a friend with a LBS and he dumped campy because of the costumer service they have, the few times that he has serviced a campy bike that takes him too long to get it fixed he had called me to find out quick what can be. He right out the bat told me the issue with campagnolo and that was kind'a common problem everywhere. The other thing is that in many shops young mechanics havent seen a campagnolo group in their whole life and since they dont have experience (or are just i d i o t s) they can't figure it out, agree all the brands are the same thing but for some mechanics aren't for some reason or another. Time is money right?

Derailleur still only has the stroke limit screws, and the B screw ..
other shifting issues are with the cable run, and the tension adjustment.
since the click detents are in the shift/brifter not in the back.
that is the cable adjuster..
and check the derailleur hanger alignment.
11 is undoubtedly fussier than 8.

How do I adjust it?
Since it's already installed that's doesn't matter - you'll get closer to perfect by seeing how it works than trying to eyeball alignment.
If it's slow shifting to a larger cog but works great going to a small cog I'd screw out an adjuster (head-tube mounted or at the rear derailleur depending on whether you're riding or it's on the repair stand) a little (1/8 turn) until up-shift and down-shift quality match on average (on all rings and except on the largest and smallest cogs where the high and low limits are relevant). If you go too far screw it back in.
This is normal with new cables and housings as the cables unwind a bit thus making them longer and ferules seat effectively shortening the housings. In both cases you end up with cables a little bit longer than they were relative to the housings and need for a bit more tension.

although that's about initial installation. Once it's already installed you need to fine tune it.

This stuff is not rocket science. It's less complicated than programming a VCR.
Look at the park tool web site and various youtube videos that Campagnolo has started posting.
