2012 Sram XX issue! Advise wanted.
Hey guys, I'm not a mechanic but I live and work in Afghanistan at the moment so I have to fix my bike myself. Local mechanics have no idea how to fix mountain bikes.
So I have a set of 2012 Sram XX brakes and I needed to reach-adjust one of the levers. Obviously I unscrewed the reach adjust pushrod too much so that it disconnected from the pushrod pivot pin. And now I can't screw it back in! Bizzare, huh? And the lever body is hard to put apart. I wonder if anything can be done to help this misery? I won't be back home for another 3 months and it's a great weather to ride a bike right now. Any ideas? Much appreciated. Thanks, m |
WW world cup, to be precise. Tooled reach adjustment.
