Source for Avid (SRAM) MDT-1 Tool

This winter I'd like to overhaul my tandem disc caliper. The MDT-1 is the only special tool required for complete disassembly. Speedgoat is the only source I've found and the are out of stock. Anyone aware of another source? I can certainly go to my LBS and borrow the tool, but I'd prefer to have one in hand. In any event I'll buy a spare caliper to eliminate any down time, one of the perils of being forced to ride through California winters.

You can go to your LBS and see if they can order the tool for you from either QBP or Avid directly.

In stock here: http://www.universalcycles.com/shopp...5&category=216

If you want to search for other places that might have it in stock just search for "Avid mechanical disc brake tool", nobody lists the part number of that thing for some reason.

Also that link shows the other weird SRAM part number if you want to use that to search: Mfg #: 11.5365.102.900

There's about 10 listings on ebay for this tool too.

Thanks, all. I've used eBay a good deal, but its use just didn't register in this case. Will also check out Universal Cycles.
